Your Natural Health and Standard Products

We believe that nutrition should be individualized to meet each patient's needs. For this reason and many more, we proudly recommend Standard Process whole food supplements.

As a nation, we eat poor-quality foods that have been stripped of nutrients.  We do not consume enough fresh fruits and vegetables.  Many of us get our whole grains from instant rice, refined wheat breads, pastas, and cereal. We eat a tremendous amount of prepackaged, pre-made meals. One-quarter of Americans eat at fast food restaurants each day. Americans are overfed and undernourished.

We eat plenty but we are still starving

The foods we eat are not providing our bodies with the nutrition it needs to survive and be healthy. We are starving our bodies and we are sick. We suffer from diabetes, heart attacks, obesity, and the list goes on and on.

There is good news

Given proper nutrition, the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. If properly fed and given the right nutrients, the human body is designed to repair itself. To do so, we need to eat a healthier diet, exercise, and take high-quality supplements made from whole foods. Whole food supplements supply our bodies with nutrients we are not getting from our diet, all the vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, and phytonutrients that foods possess in a way that nature intended, in a whole food form.

Only whole food supplements complete the nutritional gap

Whole food supplements are made by concentrating foods for use in supplements. When processed correctly, they supply a multitude of the plant's components. Foods provide nutrients that work synergistically. They work together to provide you with optimal nutrition for good health.

A word of advice: Not all whole food supplements are the same

Many whole food supplements available in today's marketplace range in quality. Companies are riding the wave of supplement popularity rather than focusing on commitment and quality.

The Erchonia Laser

We use the ErchoniaTM Laser which emits visible coherent light that is applied to the affected area. Bundles of light energy pass through the dermal layers, and are received within the cell membrane by specific energy photo acceptors. The increase in intra-cellular energy results in altered cell membrane permeability, and physiological changes occur through an enzyme cascade to affect several biological processes. Within the injured musculoskeletal tissue, low-level laser light initiates increased microcirculation, and enhanced tissue regeneration. The overall effects are decreased pain and inflammation, and increased range of motion.

Foot Bath Detoxification Program ("EB 305")

The EB 305 creates energy by altering the electron and proton load in the water to create an electromagnetic environment or "Bio-energetically" altered water environment in which the patient places his or her feet to experience the donation of appropriate ions. The donation of appropriate ions increases the body's energtics or simply translated "life-energy".

Within the human body there are energy channels known as meridians. These meridians provide a pathway for energy to flow to or from a particular organ (i.e. liver, kidney, etc.) These pathways begin or end at points on the feet or hands. A person's current state of health is determined by how well the energy in the body flows through those meridians.
Bioenergetics is important because the amount of energy a person has and the balance of energy contributes to the capacity of the body to :

1. Problem solve

2. Do work

3. Detoxify

The biological process of energy flow within the body is best described by the Helsinki Bioenergetics Group, Insititute of Biotechnology, University of Helsinki, Finland who state that "Living organisms require a constant supply of energy. In the cells themselves, this energy must be available in the form of ATP, but the organisms themselves obtain energy from their environment in other, very different forms, such as oxygen, carbohydrates, light, etc. This means that living organisms must be able to efficiently convert energy into other forms which are useable in the cell."

The EB 305 uses direct current and ions to provide energy that is sub-threshold, meaning that the patient generally will not feel the treatment. This energy is very similar to micro current and cold laser therapy (see www.Erchonia.com), both of which have been proven to increase and create more cellular ATP. This increase in cellular ATP allows the cell to work and detoxify at a higher rate. Increasing the cells' ability to work at a higher rate will allow the cell to withstand stressors either physical or chemical.

The EB 305 has shown in clinical trials using electro dermal scanning to improve and balance the body's energy, especially in the detoxifying systems. The EB 305 also has shown in clinical trials to change and balance the body's pH.

Applied Kinesiology

"Fascinating!", "Incredible!", and "Amazing!" are comments often heard during a person's initial applied kinesiology examination.  The person immediately sees how body dysfunction can be found by this examination and improved function immediately obtained.

During the 1960s a new system of evaluation began to develop in chiropractic. Dr. George Goodheart of Detroit, Michigan, found that evaluation of normal and abnormal body function could be accomplished by using muscle tests.  Since the original discovery, the examination system has broadened to include evaluation of the nervous, vascular, and lymphatic systems, nutrition, acupuncture, cerebrospinal fluid function and many other controlling or disturbing factors that influence health.  This system is called "applied kinesiology.

Muscles are tested in different areas of the body in a manner that evaluates a specific muscle.  You will note from your examination that some muscles test strong and others appear extremely weak.  The "weakness" indicates not only poor control of the muscle but also possible poor control of an organ, gland and/or other tissue on the same nerve, vascular, acupuncture, or nutritional grouping.

When muscle dysfunction is found the doctor proceeds with the examination to find what therapy restores proper function.  Application of the therapy, if successful, immediately returns proper muscle function.  Re-examination at a later time determines if the correction is maintained.  Thus the system

  1. Finds disturbance
  2. Determines how to fix it
  3. Determines if the corrective effort is successful
  4. Determines if the correction is stable

If the correction is not stable, further examination is done to find the reason so it can be eliminated.
